This is a very personal question. Many people find conventional care suits their needs perfectly, which is great- it can be very effective and cost efficient for many conditions. You may not need anything else!
But if you suffer from a chronic Conditions, dermatological (Skin) and you aren’t satisfied with the results you’ve received, or you don’t want to use steroids, antibiotics or biologic drugs, maybe it’s time to try something different.
It’s important that you and the provider speak prior to a visit to determine if Functional medicine is a good fit for your Medical Conditions and dermatological problem. Some problems are better suited to conventional medicine and are covered by insurance. We do not want you to spend money out of pocket when your issue could quickly be resolved and paid for by your health insurance.
